It was a good day - drove to Higginsville for lunch with two of my favorite gal pals, two former co-workers. It was such fun to catch up and have some girl time......and share our lunches with one another! Thanks again for the invite!
It was very rainy today. There was a couple-hour break, and I was fortunate enough to drive home during that. The ground needs moisture so bad, we're glad to get it. But, it was the type of day to curl up and read a good book or watch a good movie......or go to lunch wit the girls! We've been having such beautiful weather - now the weathe gurus are pulling out the "S" word for tomorrow (you know.....that four-letter "S" word). Yuck. Not sure I want to face that!! But, it'll be gone soon if we do get some.....back to the 70's by Sunday.
Friends and family are such a wonderful blessing. Some friends are in our lives only for a season but still have a special place in our hearts years later. We need to remember to let all those who are in our hearts know how special they are to us - especially the ones closest to us we may inadvertently take for granted.
