For those in a normal Monday-Friday workplace, it's Hump Day. That loses some of its oomph when you aren't working! Though I can't really say we aren't working. We've developed a pretty decent daily routine, including doing a 30-minute podcast five days a week. (For the curious, go to richthedj.blogspot.com and use the link - it's pretty doggoned good, especally if you like Big Band music.)
Yesterday was a busy day, with a morning trip to Chillicothe for mandatory Career Cener check-in, plus a workshop for hubby. We stocked up on just about everything in WalMart, then grabbed lunch at DQ. Yummy! We traveled home, put everything away, went to vote in our local election, then came home to do our daily podcast. My car was getting an oil change and a replacement wiper blade (thank you so much, March snowstorm!), and we picked it up mid afternoon. Rich got ambitious and did some work on a tangled mess that once upon a time was a nice lilac bush (that has been invaded with a walnut sapling, elephant bush, wild grapevine, and who knows what else).....it's a work in progress. We were both ready for evening, though I spent a lot of time on the phone.
That said, we enjoyed a much calmer day today! And still, with the calm, we did our podcast, 3 loads of laundry, some housecleaning, and other odds and ends including our daily walk.
Exciting?--no. But just the way I like it. :)
Drama is highly overrated.
